VOI001 Introduction of MS Office is a Skill Enhancement/Vocational Course designed for B.Sc. ZBC (Zoology, Botany, Chemistry) students to build practical computer-office productivity skills alongside their core science subjects — essential for lab reports, project write-ups, data tabulation and academic presentations throughout their degree and future careers.

• Course objective: to develop working competence in word processing, spreadsheet calculation and presentation design using the MS Office suite, plus safe and effective use of the internet and email.
• Assessment (typical scheme): Continuous Assessment 25, End Semester Examination 50, Total 75/100, Credits 3 (includes a practical/lab component).
• Practical emphasis: hands-on exercises — formatted documents, mail merge, spreadsheets with formulas and charts, and a multimedia slide presentation — form the bulk of the learning outcomes.
