  1. What is the World Wide Web (WWW)? How is it different from the internet? (2 marks)

  3. Define VLOOKUP() and state its general syntax. (2 marks)
  4. What is conditional formatting in Excel? Give one use case. (2 marks)
  5. What is Presenter View in PowerPoint, and why is it useful? (2 marks)
  6. What precautions should be taken for safe use of the internet? (2 marks)
  7. Differentiate between a Table and a Query in MS Access. (2 marks)

Section B — Attempt any two parts of each

  1. Explain the use of Track Changes and Comments in MS Word for collaborative document review. (5 marks)
  2. Explain how sorting and filtering can be used to organize a large dataset in MS Excel. (5 marks)
  3. Explain the steps to insert and format SmartArt and pictures in an MS PowerPoint presentation. (5 marks)
  4. Describe the process of creating and sending an email with an attachment. (5 marks)
  5. Explain, with an example, how the VLOOKUP() function can be used to retrieve a student's grade from a lookup table. (5 marks)

Section C — Attempt any two questions in full

  1. Explain in detail the process of designing a multimedia PowerPoint presentation on a topic of your choice, covering slide themes, inserting pictures/charts/SmartArt, applying transitions and animations, and delivering the presentation using Presenter View. (10 marks)
  2. Describe the basic services of the Internet and the World Wide Web, and explain the steps to create an email account and send an email with an attachment, including safe practices for using email and the internet. (10 marks)
